As many African-American lived in southern states, there are many historic sites in southern states as well as in Alabama. I saw a couple of street boards that described the site but most of them were not interested to me because I don't have any backgrounds about them. Tonight, Fox news reported Alabama may have problem to maintain Cleavland Court Apartment, one of historic sites of Civil Right Movement, due to financial issues. Like other historic sites, I don't know the importance of the site so that I get on the Internet to get the information about the apartment.
Amazingly, the apartment is a home of an African-American civil rights activists who lead Montgomery Bus Boycott. I read the story when I was ten but the book didn't mentioned where it happened and who lead the movement. The book I had read only described how the boycott begun and why it was important in Civil Rights Movement.
