Planning to get to Birmingham

I hesitated whether to fly all the way to Birmingham or stop at Atlanta and drive to Birmingham. For me, the latter one is quite an attractive becase I could save some bucks and need not to experience the notorious and complicated Atlanta Airport security system.

However, I made a decision to drive from Atlanta to Birmingham and I only booked flight from Inchon, Seoul to Atlanta, Georgia. At this moment I am very anxious to reach final destination, Birmingham. From my point of view, it does not matter to drive 2 hour and half minitues from Altanta to Birmingham. But it seems challenge to others when considering drive 2.5 hours after taking almost 20 hours flight trip.

Let's check out rent a car. I'll bring several baggages I need mini van at least and I can rent the car by paying around $110 including insurance from the result of yahoo search.

By the way I didn't consider toll fee so that I wonder there are toll highway or turnpike from Atlanta to Birmingham. Two years ago, I had chance to drive between Baltimore to New York. At that time, I spent almost $200 for toll fee for round trip. So, I googled to clarify this and I dare to make decision there are no tollgate and turnpike from Atlanta to Birmingham.
